Description

Calvenza®-03 EIV/EHV is a killed virus equine vaccine formulated for the vaccination of healthy horses 6 months of age or older, including pregnant mares. This trusted vaccine aids in the reduction of respiratory disease caused by equine influenza virus (EIV) types A1 and A2 and equine herpesvirus (EHV) types 1 and 4.

Ideal for routine immunization or pre-exposure protection, Calvenza-03 EIV/EHV supports respiratory health in all types of horses, including those in competition, training, breeding, or general stable settings.

Dosage & Administration

Shake well before use

Inject 2 mL intramuscularly using aseptic technique

Repeat a second 2 mL dose in 3–4 weeks at a different site

A third 2 mL dose should follow in another 3–4 weeks by IM or IN route

Revaccinate annually or prior to potential exposure (IM or IN)

For the vaccination of healthy, susceptible horses 6 months of age or older, including pregnant mares, as an aid in the reducation of respiratory disease due to equine herpesvirus type 1 (EHV-1) and type 4 (EHV-4) and by equine influenza types A1 and A2 viruses.

Dosage and Administration

• Shake well before use.
• Using aseptic technique, inoculate horses intramuscularly with a 2ml dose.
• Administer a second 2ml dose intramuscularly in 3-4 weeks using a different injection site.
• Administer a third 2ml dose in 3-4 weeks by either the intramuscular or intranasal route.
• Revaccinate annually and prior to anticipated exposure, by either the intramuscular or intranasal route.
