Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Upon receipt of your order, if you are not completely satisfied, please contact us within 30 days. A return authorization number will be assigned, providing the product or products to be returned are in resalable condition.
A restocking fee of up to 20% may be applied to returned, refunded, or exchanged items.

• According to federal laws, once a prescription order has been filled, it is non-returnable. Due to general health considerations and FDA regulations, we regret that there can be no returns on prescription products.
• Vaccines and special order items are non-returnable.

Product returned without a return authorization number or past the 30 day deadline will not be accepted for a refund or exchange. 

Missing or damaged items MUST be reported within 72 hours of receiving the package!

• Returns must be in new condition in original manufacturer's packaging including all product information. Health Codes will not allow any employee to handle soiled items.
• Any items returned that do not meet these specifications will be discarded at no credit.

Subscription Orders

Some products on HeartlandVetSupply.com may be offered through a recurring subscription or Autoship program.

When you enroll in a subscription:

• Your selected payment method will be automatically charged for each billing cycle based on the delivery frequency selected during checkout.
•  Subscription orders will continue to process automatically until cancelled.
•  You may modify, skip, or cancel your subscription at any time through your account or by contacting customer support.

If a subscription order has already been processed or shipped, the order will follow the return policy outlined above.

Subscription Billing Disclosure

Subscription products are billed on a recurring basis according to the billing interval selected during checkout (for example: weekly, monthly, or yearly).

The subscription price displayed at checkout reflects the price charged per billing period.

Example:
 $29.99 per month — billed every 1 month until cancelled.

Customers may cancel or modify their subscription prior to the next billing date to prevent the next shipment from processing.

Prescription Medication Subscriptions

Prescription medications included in subscription orders remain subject to federal pharmacy regulations.
Once a prescription medication has been dispensed or shipped, it cannot be returned or refunded except in the case of damage or shipping error.

All prescription orders require valid veterinarian authorization before fulfillment.
