Description

Agita® 10 WG is a professional-use, water-dispersible insecticide formulated to control house flies (Musca domestica) and litter beetles (darkling beetles) in and around commercial animal housing. Its unique combination of the active ingredient thiamethoxam and the fly attractant (Z)-9-tricosene attracts both male and female flies, encouraging them to feed on treated surfaces for effective control.

Designed for spot-spray applications, Agita® 10 WG provides both contact and stomach action with residual activity that can last four to eight weeks, depending on environmental conditions. It is ideal for poultry houses, livestock facilities, dairies, and other commercial animal operations as part of an integrated pest management program.

How It Works

Agita® 10 WG combines thiamethoxam, a Group 4A neonicotinoid insecticide, with (Z)-9-tricosene, a fly sex attractant. Flies are drawn to treated surfaces where they receive a lethal dose through contact and ingestion. The residual insecticide continues controlling insects for several weeks after application when used according to the label.

Directions

Mix Agita® 10 WG with lukewarm water according to the product label to create a spot-spray suspension.

Apply to approximately one-third of the intended treatment surfaces where flies commonly rest.
Treat window sills, door frames, warm walls, and similar resting areas.
Do not apply directly to livestock, feed, water, or areas where animals can lick treated surfaces.
Use mixed solution the same day it is prepared.

Precautions
