How to Order Prescriptions
Description
Benazepril (Lotensin) Tablets are a prescription ACE inhibitor commonly used in dogs and cats to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and certain types of heart failure, as well as chronic kidney disease. By blocking angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE), Benazepril helps relax and widen blood vessels, improving blood flow and reducing the workload on the heart.
Veterinarians may prescribe Benazepril alone or in combination with other medications for optimal cardiovascular support. It is generally well tolerated and can be given with or without food, as directed by your veterinarian.
