Bayer Expert Care™ Tapeworm Dewormer Tablets for Cats remove common tapeworms (Dipylidium caninum and Taenia taeniaeformis) in cats and kittens older than 6 weeks. They are easy to administer either directly by mouth or crumbled and mixed with your pet's food.

How it Works

Bayer Expert Care™ Tapeworm Dewormer Tablets contain praziquantel to quickly, safely and effectively remove tapeworms (Dipylidium caninum and Taenia taeniaeformis). Tablets can be given to your pet directly by mouth or crumbled and mixed with food.

Ingredients

  • Tapeworm Dewormer for Cats - Each tablet contains 23 mg praziquantel.


Dosage And Administration

Administer orally to cats and kittens* only as follows:

  • under 4 lbs - 1/2 tablet
  • 5-10 lbs - 1 tablet
  • over 11 lbs - 1 tablet

*Not intended for use in kittens less than 6 weeks of age. 

Warning

Consult your veterinarian before administering tablets to weak or debilitated animals.  Consult your veterinarian for assistance in the diagnosis, treatment, and control of parasitism. 

Cautions

Keep out of reach of children. Tell your veterinarian if your pet is weak or debilitated. Do not deworm a cat or kitten that is sick. Consult your veterinarian for diagnosis of the illness and appropriate care.
