ParaDefense II Topical for Cats

Description

Two-way flea protection kills adult fleas and flea eggs before they hatch. Fleas are present year-round, even in colder climates. And once you see one flea, chances are there are many more flea eggs, larvae and adults that you haven’t seen.

Fleas can carry diseases to your pet. Fleas can transmit tapeworms and their bites can cause flea allergy dermatitis, the most common allergic skin disease of cats. If the infestation is bad enough, they can cause anemia, which can be fatal to kittens.

Cautions

For animal use only. Do not apply to cats or kittens under eight weeks of age or weighing less than five pounds. ParaDefense for Cats is available in two convenient sizes based on your cat’s weight, 5-9 pounds and over 9 pounds.

DO NOT USE ANY PARADEFENSE ADVANCED FOR DOGS PRODUCT ON CATS. Keep cats away from treated dogs for 24 hours. If applied to a cat or ingested by a cat, contact your veterinarian immediately.

If your cat is on medication, consult your veterinarian before using this or any other product.

Storage

keep out of reach of children and pet. Store in a cool dry place.

Instructions

Avoid contact with eyes or clothing. Read the label before using. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using the toilet.

Convenient to use. Remains effective even after bathing or water immersion

Do not exceed labeled dosage amount for cats

Do not apply more than 1 tube per treatment on any cat

Do not have contact or allow children to have contact with treated area until completely dry

Under normal conditions this product is effective for a month, however in case of severe flea infestation, retreatment may be necessary earlier than four weeks. On cats, do not retreat more often than once every seven days. After flea control is attained, returned to a monthly treatment schedule.

Monitor your cat after application. Side effects, although very rare, may include signs of skin irritation such as redness, scratching, or other signs of discomfort. Gastrointestinal signs such as hyper salivation, vomiting or diarrhea have also been reported
