Description

If you choose to vaccinate your horses yourself, Equi-Jec may be the right choice for you - it is approved by veterinarians. Equi-Jec is a vaccination against West Nile Virus.

Dosage and Administration

Shake well before use. Using aseptic technique, vaccinate horses intramuscularly with a 1 mL dose. Administer a second 1 mL dose intrmuscularly in 3-4 weeks using a different injection site. The need for annual booster vaccinations has not been established for this product. Consultation with a veterinarian is recommended.

Safety Information

Precautions: Store at 35ºF - 46ºF. Do not freeze. Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Do not mix with other products. In case of anaphylactoid reaction, administer epinephrine. In case of human exposure, contact a physician.

Preservative: Gentamicin and Amphotericin B.
