Virkon s Disinfectant and Virucide is a balanced, stabilized blend of peroxygen compounds, surfactant, organic acids, and inorganic buffer.

Virkon S Disinfectant and Virucide is a highly effective, broad-spectrum disinfectant for use in livestock containment or producer areas, proven effective against all virus families affecting man and animals.

Virkon S is used around the world as a disinfectant for foot and mouth disease, yet is safe to animals and the environment. Fast acting 1% solution kills bacteria and fungi in less than 5 minutes and parvovirus in less than 10 minutes. Mix 1.3 oz per gallon of water to create a 1% solution. Concentrated formula for easy mixing and storage. Non-corrosive when used as directed. Light lemon scent. Virkon S is recommended for use as a hard-surface disinfectant in livestock production and transportation facilities. It delivers 99.9999% kill of numerous pathogens including 31 bacterial strains, 58 viruses, and 6 fungi with no evidence of resistance, eliminating the need to rotate disinfectants to avoid resistance buildup.

Virkon S oxidizes sulfur bonds in proteins and enzymes disrupting the function of the cell membrane causing rupturing of the cell wall.

First Aid

If in Eyes Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove Contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.	If On Skin or Clothing Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.
If Swallowed Call poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have a person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by a poison control center or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
