Description

Animalintex Hoof Poultice by 3M is a versatile, ready-to-use poultice pad designed for the treatment of hoof conditions, wounds, abscesses, and inflammation in horses and dogs. Made from 100% cotton wool with a non-woven cover on one side and a plastic barrier on the other, each pad contains boric acid (a mild antiseptic) and Tragacanth, a natural poultice agent that draws out infection and encourages healing.

This veterinary poultice can be used hot, cold, or dry, making it ideal for a wide range of conditions including hoof abscesses, laminitis, sprains, strains, bruises, and wound care.

Uses

Hot Poultice: Abscesses, infected wounds, laminitis, seedy toe, boils, cracked heels, corns
Cold Poultice: Sprains, strains, bruising, sore shins, capped hocks/elbows
Dry Dressing: Open wounds, pressure padding, or post-operative protection

Each dressing is pre-cut and shaped for easy application and should be secured with a wrap such as Gamgee padding and Vetrap for optimal support and moisture retention.
