The single layer beefhide chew provides mechanical cleaning as the dog chews, helping clean tooth surfaces. The beefhide is sourced from North American cattle and is baked rather than tanned.

C.E.T. HEXtra Chews are formulated with chlorhexidine gluconate for additional oral hygiene support. Daily use of the chew combines chlorhexidine with mechanical chewing action to help reduce plaque and tartar while helping keep teeth clean and breath fresh.

How It Works

C.E.T. HEXtra Premium Oral Hygiene Chews combine mechanical cleaning with chlorhexidine gluconate.

The beefhide texture provides abrasive cleansing action against tooth surfaces as the dog chews. This mechanical action helps reduce plaque and tartar buildup.

Chlorhexidine gluconate provides additional oral hygiene support. Virbac reports that chlorhexidine begins working within approximately 2 minutes and binds to oral tissues, where it is gradually released for prolonged activity.

Adequate chewing is necessary for the intended oral hygiene benefit. Swallowing a chew whole or in large pieces reduces the mechanical cleaning action and may also present a choking or gastrointestinal obstruction risk.

C.E.T. HEXtra Premium Oral Hygiene Chews are coated with a chlorhexidine gluconate formulation.

Inactive Ingredients:

Beef Rawhide, Maltodextrin, Hydrolyzed Poultry Liver (Enzymatic), Sodium Gluconate, Mixed Tocopherols (Preservative), Glucono Delta Lactone, Potassium Sorbate (Preservative).

Directions
