Elevate W.S. provides a source of natural vitamin E that is more bioavailable than other vitamin E sources. Elevate Water Soluable is suitable for all classes and ages of horses.

Natural Vitamin E, such as that contained in Elevate, is more readily absorbed than synthetic. Elevate is two to three times more potent than synthetic Vitamin E. Vitamin E supplementation is important in treating many neurological diseases.

Vitamin E plays a supportive role at the cellular level in immune, cardiovascular, circulatory, and reproductive functions. In addition, vitamin E is important in maintaining the antioxidant status of the body.

Vitamin E is plentiful in green grass, but what about horses that don’t have access to pasture?

Horses that don’t have access to pasture, for whatever reason, may have a vitamin E deficiency. When such a deficiency is discovered, a vitamin E supplement may be necessary. Researchers have established that natural forms of vitamin E are absorbed faster than synthetic forms. (Pagan, J.D, E. Kane, and D. Nash. 2005. Form and source of tocopherol affects vitamin E status in Thoroughbred horses. Pferdheilkunde 21:101-102.)

When faced with possible vitamin E deficiencies, ask your veterinarian about Elevate W.S.

Elevate should be administered orally or top-dressed onto dry feeds at time of feeding. The product should not be mixed into complete feeds and stored for prolonged periods of time. For best results, Elevate should be fed soon after removal from bottle.

INDICATIONS Research has shown that natural vitamin E has greater biological activity than synthetic vitamin E. The natural vitamin E found in Elevate is in the form of minute, water-soluble particles that are delivered to the bloodstream and target organs more efficiently than the vitamin E in oil-based or water-miscible supplements.

Elevate is ideal for horses maintained on diets composed largely of processed grains and stored forages. Such feedstuffs usually have low vitamin E content; thus horses require vitamin E supplementation.

Vitamin E status can be determined by measuring serum tocopherol levels. Serum tocopherol levels below 1-2 µg per ml are considered deficient in most animals.

STORE AT ROOM TEMPERATURE OR UNDER REFRIGERATION. AVOID FREEZING AND EXCESSIVE HEAT.
