Synanthic® (oxfendazole oral suspension) Bovine Dewormer is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic for cattle. It is formulated to remove and control a range of economically important internal parasites, including lungworms, stomach worms, intestinal worms, and tapeworms.
The oral suspension contains oxfendazole, a benzimidazole anthelmintic. Accurate weight-based dosing helps provide effective parasite control while supporting responsible deworming practices.

Shake well immediately before use.
Determine the proper dose according to the animal's current body weight.
Administer orally using an accurate dose syringe at a rate of 1 mL per 110 lb (50 kg) of body weight.
Do not underdose. Ensure each animal receives the complete calculated dose. Underdosing may result in ineffective treatment and may encourage the development of parasite resistance.
Fecal examinations or other appropriate diagnostic tests and the herd's parasite management history should be considered when determining whether treatment is appropriate.
Following treatment, deworming effectiveness should be monitored using an appropriate method, such as a fecal egg count reduction test.
Consult a veterinarian for assistance with the diagnosis, treatment, and control of parasitism.
No specific adverse reactions are listed on the current product label when Synanthic® is used according to directions.
Contact a veterinarian if an unexpected or concerning reaction occurs following administration.
Consult a veterinarian for assistance in the diagnosis, treatment, and control of parasitism.
Parasite management history, fecal examinations, or other appropriate diagnostic testing should be considered before administering a dewormer. Treatment effectiveness should also be monitored after administration.
A decrease in dewormer effectiveness over time may indicate the development of parasite resistance. Adjust the parasite management program as appropriate based on regular monitoring and veterinary guidance.
Cattle must not be slaughtered for human consumption until 7 days after treatment.
Because a withdrawal time in milk has not been established, do not use in female dairy cattle of breeding age.
