NEPHRODYL™ Synbiotic Capsules by Virbac are formulated to provide proactive kidney support for dogs and cats. The proprietary formula combines prebiotics and probiotics to support optimal kidney function through enteric detoxification.

The acid-resistant capsule helps deliver beneficial probiotic microbes to the intestinal tract, where they metabolize nitrogenous waste. These waste-filled microbes can then be eliminated through the feces.

Each capsule contains 22.5 billion CFU and provides a convenient once- or twice-daily administration schedule based on the pet's weight.

How It Works

NEPHRODYL uses a process called enteric detoxification to support kidney function.

The acid-resistant capsule delivers probiotic microbes to the intestinal tract. These beneficial microbes metabolize nitrogenous waste that has moved from the bloodstream into the colon. The waste-containing microbes can then be naturally eliminated through the feces.

The formula also contains the prebiotics xylo-oligosaccharide and inulin, which support the growth and activity of beneficial intestinal bacteria.

Directions

Capsules should be given whole. Do not open or crush the capsules.

Administer according to the animal's weight:
Dogs and Cats Under 10 lbs: Give 1 capsule once daily.
Dogs and Cats 10 lbs or Greater: Give 1 capsule twice daily, with 1 capsule in the morning and 1 capsule in the evening.

Each capsule provides 22.5 billion CFU.
