How It Works

Pramoxine Hydrochloride is a topical anesthetic that temporarily reduces sensations of itching and discomfort at the skin's surface. This helps provide temporary relief while the shampoo cleanses the skin and coat.

Indications

For use on dogs, cats, and horses for the temporary relief of itching, flaking, and irritation associated with skin conditions responsive to pramoxine.

Directions

Shake well before use.
Wet the hair coat thoroughly with warm water. Apply enough shampoo to create a rich lather and massage thoroughly into the wet coat.
Rinse and repeat application. Allow the shampoo to remain on the coat for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.
May initially be used 2 to 3 times per week for 4 weeks, then reduced to once weekly, or as directed by your veterinarian.

Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. If accidental eye contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
If skin irritation develops, persists, or increases, discontinue use and consult your veterinarian.
