Description

Gastrobim™ (omeprazole) Oral Paste is a prescription proton pump inhibitor (PPI) indicated for the treatment of gastric ulcers and the prevention of recurrence of gastric ulcers in horses and foals 4 weeks of age and older. As the first FDA-approved generic equivalent to GastroGard®, Gastrobim contains the same active ingredient and has been shown to be bioequivalent to the brand-name product.

Gastrobim contains 37% w/w omeprazole in an easy-to-administer oral paste supplied in an adjustable-dose syringe. Each syringe is calibrated according to body weight, making dosing simple and accurate for horses of varying sizes. Once-daily administration helps reduce stomach acid production, allowing gastric ulcers to heal while helping prevent recurrence when used as directed by your veterinarian.

Uses & Benefits

How It Works

Gastrobim contains omeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor that suppresses gastric acid production by blocking acid pumps in the stomach lining.
