Puppies are born with relatively no immune system. They have to rely on their mother's colostrum for their first immune factors to develop. But due to competition, there may not be an adequate amount of colostrum for every or all of the litter.

Dosage

• NurseMate should be given throughout the first 96 hours after birth.
• If possible, the first dose should be given right after birth, before puppies start nursing.
• Give 2mL as soon after birth as possible, or when reduced appetite is observed.
• Give additional feedings as needed.
