BLU-KOTE is a fast-drying veterinary antiseptic protective wound dressing for external use on horses and dogs. The topical spray is designed for application to surface wounds, cuts, abrasions, chafes, galls, hoof, foot, and pad sores, as well as other appropriate skin lesions identified on the product label.
The formula combines Sodium Propionate, Gentian Violet, and Acriflavine in a quick-drying base. BLU-KOTE provides a convenient protective coating over the application area and can be incorporated into routine external wound and skin care.
BLU-KOTE should not be used on cats, and dogs should be prevented from licking treated areas. The aerosol formulation is extremely flammable and must be kept away from heat and open flames.
BLU-KOTE combines three active ingredients in a fast-drying topical base. When applied to a clean, dry affected area, the spray creates a protective coating that keeps the formulation in contact with the application site.
The product label identifies BLU-KOTE as a veterinary antiseptic protective wound dressing.
For advertising purposes, keeping the customer-facing description focused on protective wound dressing, topical skin care, and label-supported applications is more conservative than emphasizing treatment, cure, or guaranteed healing claims.
