The battle against pain and inflammation took a major turn early in the 19th century when non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs became an important pharmaceutical treatment. In 2005, another revolutionary breakthrough has taken place.
In the treatment of pain and inflammation, Växamine (pronounced "vox-ah-meen") sets itself apart in several ways when measuring up to other anti-inflammatories. However, Växamine’s most impressive attribute is that it doesn’t produce the harmful side effects associated with NSAIDs like Celebrex®, Vioxx® and Ibuprofen.
In a recent clinical study, Växamine outperformed Celebrex® as a COX-2 inhibitor, 56-45 percent, and was more selective in its inhibition of COX-2 than both Celebrex® and Vioxx®. Furthermore, the selectiveness of Växamine™ leaves COX-1, an enzyme crucial in preventing gastrointestinal and cardiac problems, virtually untouched. It has been shown that Växamine™ provides a 50% reduction in COX-2 and 5-LOX (second enzyme involved in inflammation) in less than two hours, without the concern of harmful side effects often experienced with drugs like Celebrex® and Vioxx®.

Dear Elara Vet,
I am pleased to be writing you a testimony about our 12 year old lab/cross Emma. The vet said said she has arthritis in her elbows. It makes her very uncomfortable. I have given her MSM, the chondroiten sulfate, then glucosamine with no good results. Next we tried Cetyl M and then an arthritis supplement from the mini pet mart, no change. Now, she is on her 2nd bottle of vaxamine and she is bouncy and happy again! Thank you very much. Sincerely, Margo Bartow
