Shipping, Returns and Other Policies SHIPPING POLICY All shipping charges are based on the quantity, weight and box size of the item, and the shipping location. Heartland Veterinary Supply is not responsible for misdirected or undeliverable packages. VACCINE POLICY Vaccines are shipped in a styrofoam cooler with ice packs on Mondays and Tuesdays only unless overnight delivery is requested. We strongly recommend that you choose 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air for all vaccines. Vaccines not shipped in this manner are nonreturnable, nonrefundable. Expedited Vaccine Shipping Schedule RETURN POLICY Upon receipt of your order, if you are not completely satisfied, please contact us within 30 days. A return authorization number will be assigned, providing the product or products to be returned are in resalable condition. Product returned without a return authorization number or past the 30 day deadline will not be accepted for a refund or exchange. According to federal laws, once a prescription order has been filled, it is non-returnable. PRESCRIPTION POLICY Orders that require a prescription may take an extra day to process through our pharmacy. All prescriptions must include: 1. The Date Prescription was written 2. Veterinarian's Name (written signature and printed legibly) 2. Veterinarian's License Number (and state licensed in) 3. Veterinarian's Phone Number and Complete Address 4. Owner's Name and Telephone Number 5. Animal's name when appropriate 6. Prescription item and size 7. Number of refill All prescriptions are good for one year from date on original script or until refills are filled, which ever comes first.
